How to reach IST Austria (ISTA)

We will provide a conference shuttle marked as „ISTA Summer School“.

Pick up in the mornings:

  • 08:30 Wien Heiligenstadt (8:40 departure) – directly to IST Austria
  • 08:35Niedermarkt 17-19, Klosterneuburg (in front of Hotel Schrannenhof, Hotel Anker) – 08:40 departure
  • 08:45 departure from Pension Alte Mühle to IST Austria

Pick-up in the afternoons:

Monday and Tuesday: departure 17:05 from ISTA to Vienna and in a separate bus to Marienhof

                                     departure 17:20 to Klosterneuburg

Wednesday:                 departure after dinner at 21:00 from ISTA to Vienna, the other bus: 21:00 to Marienhof and directly to Klosterneuburg- Alte Mühle and Schrannenhof (the bus will not return to ISTA after Marienhof to pick people up)

Thursday:                    departure 17:05 to Stift Klosterneuburg; 21:00 departure from Oberer Stadtfriedhof Klosterneuburg to ISTA and Marienhof, the other bus goes to Vienna.

Please note that it will take you 10-15 minutes to walk back to your hotels located in Klosternueburg. Therefore, there will be no shuttle provided to the hotels in Klosterneuburg.

Friday:                         departure 14:00 to Vienna, the other bus to Marienhof,

                                    departure 14:15/20 to Klosterneuburg

Alternatives
IST Shuttle (#Bus 142) stops at ISTA, Klosterneuburg Stadtplatz, and Heiligenstadt  (Vienna U4 subway). Free for participants when showing the bus invitation.

Please note that the stop in Klosterneuburg is not at Niedermarkt (where the conference bus stops, but at Stadtplatz).

Public Bus #400 (note: check direction, it needs to say MARIA GUGGING LOURDESGROTTE if going to IST Austria!), €4,20 one way, payable on the bus in cash.
